Controls Engineer
Job Title: Ignition Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Ignition Engineer to join our team. You will be responsible for writing and debugging PLC code, performing maintenance and modifications, commissioning industrial networks, and integrating various systems. This role requires hands-on experience with industrial data collection and configuring industrial network equipment for secure and reliable plant-wide communication.

ResponsibilitiesWrite and debug Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) code in accordance with programmer work instructions or customer requirements.Perform corrective maintenance, non-routine repair, modification, troubleshooting, and calibration of PLC/HMI code and/or system components.Commission industrial networks and establish stable communication between PLCs and their network components, switches, and ancillary devices.Integrate ERP/MOMS/MES systems with HMI/SCADA systems.Hands-on experience with Industrial Data Collection / IIOT.Essential SkillsExperience with object-oriented programming languages such as Python, Java, VB.Net, and C.Experience with Inductive Automation’s Ignition SCADA platform.Experience with SQL databases.Experience building ETL packages.Additional Skills & QualificationsAviation experience is a plus.Must be able to commute to Asheville, NC.Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00
