Actalent is looking to hire a Controls Engineer for an opening here in Columbus, Ohio!
Job Description
We are partnering with an industrial equipment manufacturer specializing in the food and baking industry. This company manufactures equipment that is used in large industrial baking sites.
Responsibilities
+ PLC programming
+ Designing and building electrical cabinets and panels
+ Software programming
+ Installing equipment, which includes minimal travel (15-20%)
+ Troubleshooting newly installed equipment at customer sites
Essential Skills
+ 2+ years of PLC programming experience
+ 1+ year of panel design experience with AutoCAD
+ Associate or Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering field
+ Experience with RSLogix5000
+ Knowledge of electrical engineering and industrial process flow
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in automation, robotics, and motion control
+ Proficiency in control system design
+ Experience with hardware design and HMI programming
+ Familiarity with Allen Bradley PLCs
Work Environment
You will be working in a small team environment with about 5 other controls engineers. The company is family-owned, known for its great culture and relaxed environment, offering opportunities for advancement.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $38.50
