The Controls Engineer is responsible for creating, documenting, developing, supporting, and improving upon the control systems that are essential to the production processes. The role involves supporting the entire project lifecycle from initial sourcing through SOP +90 days, or as required. You will provide controls expertise to assist in tooling design and automation for new projects and process changes driven by product engineering changes. Additionally, you will oversee the transfer of all equipment and process documentation to the Production Plant prior to SOP, including OEM equipment documentation. This position also involves participating in the development of RFQs and Equipment Specifications for Capital and Tooling Requirements, programming torque control systems, and joint development. You will be responsible for selecting error and mistake-proofing devices, supporting the Engineering Cost Estimator, and helping establish design goals, process, and equipment specifications for Controls and Electrical power distribution systems.

The role is based in a brand-new facility, built within the past ten years with highly technical robotic and automated systems. Safety vests must be worn. There are multiple shifts available.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $120000.00
