Job Title: Automation Controls Engineer

 

Description:

Actalent is hiring a motivated Automation Controls Engineer and partnering with a leading company in product identification and traceability technology. This company specializes in a wide range of permanent, programmable laser, Pinstamp®, DotPeen, and Telescribe® Scribe Marking Systems, which are trusted in manufacturing environments worldwide.

Duties will include:

Design and develop control systems and applications with limited assistance, including PLC programming, HMI development, vision, and motion control systems.Assist with electrical design and robotics applications as needed.Manage project installations, startups, and conduct factory assessments and site acceptance tests.Provide customer training on system operations and functionality.Support sales by estimating labor hours for project proposals.

Top Skills:

5+ years of industry experience in PLC programming (preferably Allen Bradley) and HMI development.Bachelor's degree in engineering (Associates degree is acceptable).Commissioning and customer-facing experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Experience with Cognex vision readers for machine vision applications.Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical for creating electrical schematics and system designs.

Experience Level: Intermediate Level

 

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90,000.00 - $110,000.00
