Job Description

Join a leading manufacturer of motor vehicle parts and accessories, specializing in aluminum alloy wheels. Our products are predominant in the automotive aftermarket, and we supply major OEMs such as Honda, Nissan, and General Motors. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Controls Engineer to join our operations in Columbus, IN. The Controls Engineer will play a crucial role in optimizing manufacturing processes, enhancing product quality, and driving innovation in our aluminum wheel production.

ResponsibilitiesDesign, program, and oversee the installation of machines and/or processes.Manage project timelines and budgets.Build, program, or purchase necessary components.Plan project details and communicate with other departments to ensure project success.Support robotics plant-wide.Essential Skills5+ years of controls engineering experience.Proficiency with Fanuc robots (R2000, R1000, 30iA).Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting.Experience with AutoCAD or Inventor.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $48.08
