Controls Engineer

Actalent is looking to hire a Controls Engineer for an opening here in Columbus, Ohio!

Job Description

We are partnering with an industrial equipment manufacturer specializing in the food and baking industry. This company manufactures equipment that is used in large industrial baking sites.

ResponsibilitiesPLC programmingDesigning and building electrical cabinets and panelsSoftware programmingInstalling equipment, which includes minimal travel (15-20%)Troubleshooting newly installed equipment at customer sitesEssential Skills2+ years of PLC programming experience1+ year of panel design experience with AutoCADAssociate or Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering fieldExperience with RSLogix5000Knowledge of electrical engineering and industrial process flowAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience in automation, robotics, and motion controlProficiency in control system designExperience with hardware design and HMI programmingFamiliarity with Allen Bradley PLCsWork Environment

You will be working in a small team environment with about 5 other controls engineers. The company is family-owned, known for its great culture and relaxed environment, offering opportunities for advancement.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $38.50
