Job Description

The Controls Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the electrical and process controls portions of new construction projects, as well as value-engineering and optimizing the processes of existing plants with new and updated process controls. The role involves programming, modifying, and upgrading PLCs and making electrical design modifications to existing systems.

The role is based on-site at the plant in Springfield, KY, with a standard schedule of 8 AM to 5 PM. The candidate will need to commute to headquarters in Nicholasville, KY once every two weeks, with mileage reimbursed. There is a possible, though rare, opportunity to travel to other global plants, such as in the UK. The position reports to the Corporate Engineering group in Nicholasville, though they frequently visit the Springfield plant. The work environment is non-climate controlled with the smell of yeast, but industrial fans are provided in work cells to keep cool during hot summer months. The role may involve 0-10 hours of overtime.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $90000.00

2 weeks of vacation, 10 paid holidays, and 6 personal days
