Job Description

Design control systems for complex automated systems from the ground up, including developing panel layouts, power distribution and controls wiring diagrams, PLC programs, and HMI programs. You will work closely and be very familiar with ControlLogix PLC’s & FactoryTalk View and other platforms. A background in both manufacturing and process controls and a strong understanding of instrumentation, analog signaling, and basic electronics would be beneficial. You will work closely with Project Engineers to develop and implement error-proofing systems and with maintenance technicians to troubleshoot and diagnose daily production issues.

The role involves spending time in the field with customers to help with commissioning and troubleshooting, programming, and working in the office or shop floor. Travel is primarily within western PA, with most being in the Greater Pittsburgh Region. Approximately one-third of the job may involve being on the road daily with customers, all locally. The work environment is laid back and team-oriented, supporting larger nationally known customers as well as local private and municipal customers.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $50.48
