Controls Engineer

ResponsibilitiesAssist assembly technicians with commissioning and startup of PLC systems.Generate detailed documentation of code/system functionality.Hands-on experience with programming and designing electrical machine controls.Develop PLC control software from system requirements.Implement new designs on machines using AutoCAD Electrical.Program and troubleshoot existing machinery.Program HMI interfaces to display system status and allow for user input.Ensure adherence to electrical and machine safety standards.Essential SkillsMotion experience, particularly with Servo Motors.Experience working in an industrial manufacturing environment.PLC Programming, with preference for Allen Bradley.AutoCAD Electrical Design Experience.Experience with PLC motion programming.Experience with PLC programming (-3 framework), including Ladder logic, Structured text, Function block, and Statement list.Knowledge of and experience with industrial networking, such as Ethernet/IP, ProfiNet, and DeviceNet.Familiarity with component manufacturers like Banner, Turck, SMC, Wago, ABB, and Keyence.Additional Skills & QualificationsEngineering Degree (preferred).Experience with Schneider Electric, PacDrive (formerly Elau), and Siemens.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.28 - $62.50
