Summary: Seeking a Sr. Controls Engineer with expertise in PLC programming and industrial controls systems for manufacturing environments, ideally with automotive experience.

Requirements:

AS or BS in Engineering or equivalent experience. 3+ years of Controls Engineering/PLC/HMI programming experience. Experience with Rockwell Allen Bradley or Siemens PLC programming. Experience with hardware design using AutoCAD, Promise-E, or ePlan is a plus. Ability to program/write code/ladder logic from scratch. Prior experience with automotive manufacturing integration and commissioning.

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of multiple PLC brands such as Omron, Mitsubishi, etc. Proficiency with field bus networks like DeviceNet, Ethernet I/P, Profibus, ProfiNet.

Responsibilities:

Create and commission industrial controls systems and PLC software designs. Develop PLC/HMI code and conduct on-site debugging and commissioning. Program peripheral devices and coordinate machine validation with teams. Design systems to meet customer specifications using standard techniques. Travel to customer sites for system installation and startup.

Pay Details: $33.00 to $45.00 per hour
