Job Description
This position requires carrying out the duties of the Engineering Department, including design, research, prototyping, and engineering documentation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with industrial equipment and the ability to program in a variety of platforms, primarily Logix 5000 and TIA Portal.
ResponsibilitiesCreate new and modify existing PLC code to achieve desired results.Create new and modify existing schematics and panel layouts using AutoCAD.Prepare specifications for the purchase of electrical equipment and materials, including the preparation of a Bill of Materials (BOM).Perform hands-on work with industrial equipment.Essential SkillsProficient in programming PLCs, including Allen-Bradley and Siemens.Experienced in using AutoCAD for designing schematics and panel layouts.Skilled in programming and troubleshooting robotics and HMIs.Knowledgeable in Allen-Bradley, HMI, PLC, Siemens, AutoCAD, ladder logic, and Fanuc.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with AutoCAD Electrical or DraftSight.Ability to modify or troubleshoot PLCs (Allen-Bradley/Siemens).Work Environment
This role requires travel up to 50%. You will be involved in custom automation design on the floor. Additionally, you will have direct access to upper management and exposure to cutting-edge technology in the automation industry.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $57.69 - $60.00
