Job Description
Provide electrical and controls engineering expertise in support of existing and new equipment. Serve as the internal subject matter expert in control systems including PLC, HMI, VFD, Motion Control, system integration, and electromechanical devices. Manage portions of projects as assigned, including quoting, materials ordering, and budgeting depending on the size and scope of the project. Participate in customer meetings from a technical perspective, applying knowledge of electronics, electrical circuits, mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and programming. Assist in giving instructions and directions to a custom panel shop team. Develop training procedures and documentation for US-based field service. Develop, duplicate, and modify new and existing PLC programs for proprietary process control systems. Travel to customer sites for equipment commissioning and troubleshooting support (30-50% travel expected). Train customer staff on equipment functionality and process operations as needed.

The position is based on-site at an industrial equipment manufacturer. The role involves working with state-of-the-art technologies and equipment in a dynamic and collaborative environment. Expect 30-50% travel to customer sites for equipment commissioning and troubleshooting support.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $43.25 - $67.31
