We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer with experience in process instrumentation, PLC programming, ladder logic, wiring control boxes, and general electrical knowledge. You will work under our current I&E person, making this an excellent opportunity for someone with a few years of experience to grow and develop their skills further.
Responsibilities
+ Program and troubleshoot PLCs using ladder logic.
+ Wire and troubleshoot control boxes.
+ Work on process instrumentation and general electrical tasks.
+ Collaborate with the current I&E person and other team members.
+ Implement and maintain SCADA systems.
+ Handle AC/DC power and logic controls.
+ Perform troubleshooting and maintenance of electronic systems.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
+ 4+ years of experience in controls engineering.
+ Proficiency in PLC programming and ladder logic.
+ Experience with control boxes and SCADA systems.
+ Strong electrical knowledge including AC/DC power, logic controls, and troubleshooting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in the pharmaceutical, oil and gas, or manufacturing industries is preferred.
Work Environment
You will work onsite 5 days a week alongside one other senior Controls Engineer. We offer a super small company culture with a lot of autonomy. Recently, we received our food certification and are extremely busy pursuing industries outside of oil and gas for water treatment. Our client is an innovation leader providing advanced water treatment chemistry, technology, and service programs for a variety of industries. We value safety, innovation, quality, and leadership.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $45.00
