Controls Engineer
Job Title: Controls Engineer Job Description This role supports current production by handling escalated maintenance and controls engineering issues to maintain or restore production lines. The primary focus is on troubleshooting various PLCs and robots in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities + Troubleshoot Rockwell, Allen Bradley, and Siemens PLCs at a high frequency, including I/O mapping and quick troubleshooting. + Troubleshoot FANUC robots used for assembly, pick and place, and weld applications. + Troubleshoot HMI applications with visual indicators. + Interface with communication media such as DeviceNet and Ethernet IP configurations. Essential Skills + 3+ years of experience as a controls automation engineer in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. + Strong ability to troubleshoot Rockwell, Allen Bradley, and Siemens PLCs. + Experience troubleshooting FANUC robots. + Automation experience with Rockwell, Allen Bradley, FANUC, Siemens PLCs, and I/O mapping. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Basic understanding of FANUC robots and Siemens HMIs. + Vision systems experience, preferably with Keyence or Matrox. + Previous experience in a controls engineering role supporting production. + Previous GM experience, including GCCH training and global common controls hardware. + Bachelor's degree in an engineering field, preferred. Work Environment The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 6:30 am to 2:30 pm, with no weekend or overtime expectations Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $60.00/hr.
