Job Description:We are looking for an experienced and highly-qualified Controls Engineer to oversee the development of automated control systems. Our ideal candidate has at least a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and experience with electrical systems. You will use PLC programming products, such as those made by Siemens and Allen Bradley, to create these control systems. Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:Collaborate with Process Engineers to develop process ladder logic, OITs, and configure PLCs to meet project specifications.Design power distribution panels and variable frequency drive packages.Specify process instrumentation, control system hardware, and power-regulated components.Work with Electrical CAD Designers to develop control panel and wiring diagrams.Coordinate with the in-house panel shop to ensure all panels are built according to drawings and UL specifications.Ensure effective communication.Perform other duties as assigned.

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (NICE TO HAVE) Experience with PLC programming products ( Allen-Bradley).Proficiency in AutoCAD for drafting schematics.Experience in an industrial setting - landfill gas extraction, compression, combustion (e.g., flares), furnace, or leachate remediation equipment used in the solid waste industryKnowledge of combustion, boilers, furnaces, and refinery settings is a plus.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.67 - $62.50/hr.
