Controls Engineering Intern - Master's/ Ph.D

We are looking for a Controls Engineering Intern to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies.  This role will report to Principal Engineer, Controls and based in San Jose, CA.  This is a fully on-site, in office role.

Role and Responsibilities:

Develop solutions focused on process control and optimal system performancePropose enhancements, optimizations, and failure analysis to existing control strategiesSupport simulation design and modeling of sub-systems with a data-driven approach


Skills and Experience:  

Working towards an M.S or Ph.D degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS), Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Controls Engineering, and Mechatronics  EngineeringExcellent knowledge of MATLAB and simulation environmentExperience with data analysis in Python or MATLABExperience with C/Python software development and embedded codingExperience with version control software GitHub/GitLab preferredExperience in porting algorithms to embedded systems and optimizing codeDesire to work in a fast-paced, production-oriented environmentUnderstanding of diagnostic techniques for system componentsThis internship is scheduled to begin June 2025 and end approximately August 2025.
