Job Title: Controls Service Engineer *Will have to temporarily relocate to Illinois*

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Controls Field Service Engineer to troubleshoot, start up, and debug machine tool equipment focusing on electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, as well as programming adjustments. This role requires extensive travel on short notice.

ResponsibilitiesRespond rapidly to customer issues and installations.Program and troubleshoot PLC and NC systems (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Rockwell, Fanuc).Program and integrate robots (ABB & Fanuc).Troubleshoot electrical hardware, perform servo tuning and integrate networks.Parameterize and tune servo drives.Assist customers with part run-offs and ensure the final acceptance of systems.Essential SkillsExperience with PLC programming, troubleshooting, and commissioning (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Rockwell, Fanuc).Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on-site.At least 2 years of relevant experience is preferred.Additional Skills & QualificationsWillingness to travel frequently, often on short notice.Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.Strong communication skills in an international setting.Willingness to work overtime when necessary to meet project deadlines or customer needs.Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid passport for potential international travel.Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $110000.00/yr base

This is an hourly role and any hours over 40 is 1.5x.
