PTEC Electrified Controls team is looking for qualified candidates to perform Controls Integration duties on xEV programs. Controls Integration Engineer will work in a team environment and lead Integration for Electrified programs.
You'll have...
• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Computer Science, or related degree, or foreign equivalency degree, or a combination of equivalent experience and education
• 1+ years of Hybrid Control Systems expereince
• 2+ years Ford PT software and calibration functionality expereince
• 2+ years Hybrid and Electric Vehicles systems operation and diagnostics expereince
• 1+ years High Voltage Safety knowledge

What you'll do...
• Drive commonality across platforms and applications for electrified vehicles
• Maintain requirement status for program signoff in FEDE
• Represent the Controls department at program and launch meetings
• Communicate program information and timing to controls teams
• Support studies (timing and vehicle) for existing and new programs
• Develop and Maintain Vehicle and Breadboard Test Plans for each application
• Develop and execute plans to reduce test days
• Develop and Deliver presentations for Electrified Controls
• Track and report progress to plan
• Lead assessments and preparation for Engineering milestone reviews (FDJ, PEC, FEC)
• Lead work streams to deliver target savings
• Lead troubleshooting efforts for vehicle controls issues and bring in supporting teams as needed
• Lead interface with program PMTs for each xEV applications
• Attend program meetings to capture and communicate timing and other program changes to the team
• Track integration deliverables to support program implementation reviews (PIR)
• Update deliverables status for each program in global integrator
• Lead issue resolution to root cause (8D), permanent corrective action and prevent recurrence for xEV controls related concerns
• Lead the commissioning process on the first set of vehicles, Breadboards (High Voltage and Low Voltage) and Dynos in the prototype phase. Verify software and calibration level and functionality
• Perform High Level Function Design Verification Methods Testing, analyze results, and develop DVP&R as needed
