Controls Lead
Job Title: Controls LeadJob Description A Product Support Technician is responsible for service/support and parts sales for all products manufactured. You will play a vital role in providing support to all our customers and Field Service Technicians worldwide. You will be responsible for administering warranty claims and ensuring proper feedback to manufacturing to continuously improve our products. In the process of supporting the equipment, you must be able to research and analyze proprietary documents and determine the proper operation of equipment to assist customers and service technicians. Our Pump Stations are controlled by programmable logic controllers and incorporate variable-speed motor control. We also provide remote communications packages that allow for adjustment and control of the customer’s equipment, ensuring seamless operation and support. Responsibilities + Handle parts sales and calls for technical assistance. + Provide support via phone and email to customers, Service Centers, distributors, and employees regarding service, parts, and equipment in the field. + Prepare written and verbal quotations. + Sell parts and accessories and ensure timely delivery. + Provide field information and feedback to the Engineering and Management team to improve our products or correct errors. Essential Skills + Prior technical experience with pumps and electrical controls (e.g., PLC, HMI, SCADA, VFDs). + Experience with replacement parts sales (quoting, pricing, etc.). + Strong customer service attitude and aptitude. + Strong mechanical aptitude. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Technical experience troubleshooting control systems for water treatment systems, irrigation systems, or wastewater treatment systems is a plus. Work Environment Office environment. Monday to Friday. No travel required.
