Controls Programmer
Description Actalent is currently working with a customer that is located in Lewis Center Ohio. The design and manufacture industrial automated machinery for the manufacturing industry. They support a variety of customers in the automotive, customer industrial product, medical device, and other manufactures. Currently, they are seeking an experience controls engineer to join the software programming team. The main responsibilities are as follows: -Concept, design, develop, and integrate a software controls scheme for turnkey manufacturing systems. -Proactively communicate with the project manager, project team, and customer to ensure all expectations are being met. -Responsible for leading or supporting system design and development activities -Some travel is required for machine installation and customer training (approximately 10-15%) Additional Skills & Qualifications -5 years of PLC Programming experience -Omron or Rockwell PLC Programming experience -Bachelors degree in engineering or computer science preferred or associates with 10+ years of experience within PLC's -System integration experience -Ground up controls -Robotics experience -Denso, Fanuc, Kuka, ABB, Motoman Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $42.00 - $53.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
