Our client in the Automation engineering industry is seeking a Controls Systems Engineer to join their team. As a Controls Systems Engineer, you will be part of the Control Systems Engineering department supporting various Refinery and Oil & Gas clients. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** Controls Systems Engineer **Location:** Long Beach, CA **Pay Range:** $140,000 - $160,000+ DOE plus bonus, benefits, ESOP, etc. **What's the Job?** + Design, program, implement, and commission advanced control systems for refinery clients. + Lead the controls system design and act as a project engineer, interacting with the client’s technical representative and our internal design teams to move the project forward and on schedule. + Develop DCS or PLC Logic and Graphics applications compliant with customer/company specifications and applicable industry standards. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including process engineers, project managers, and operations personnel, to develop engineering solutions for projects. + Support the project manager on projects doing design, installation, testing, troubleshooting, migrations, etc. **What's Needed?** + Bachelor's degree in Engineering + 5+ years of experience as a Control Systems Engineer, with a strong focus on Honeywell DCS projects including design, testing, installation, etc. + Proficiency in working with Honeywell DCS platforms, including TDC 2000 and TDC 3000.
