Controls Technician
Seeking a Controls Technician near the Jackson, TN area!

ResponsibilitiesInstall, configure, program, test, and repair programmable logic equipment and associated peripherals.Make changes to existing control logic and operator interface programs.Assist in the implementation of new control systems.Install and configure programming terminals.Maintain the data structure of terminals used to monitor and operate machinery.Install, test, and repair electrical control components.Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and apply knowledge of machinery and electrical control units and systems.Assist maintenance in identifying defective components and wiring, and adjust mechanical parts.Align, adjust, and calibrate control components.Maintain records of repairs, calibrations, and tests.Program and troubleshoot controllers.Read schematics and OEM specifications to program, configure, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment.Perform additional duties as assigned.Essential SkillsPLC programmingControls engineeringFactory TalkExperience with RS View, RS Logic 5000Ability to design and program automated equipment functionsExpertise with Allen-Bradley and Rockwell Automation componentsProficiency with MS OfficeStrong oral and written communication skillsAbility to read and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
