Job Title: Electrical Equipment Tester
Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Equipment Tester with experience in the electrical field, particularly in panel building and testing of electrical equipment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing 600-volt battery backup enclosures to ensure functionality, durability, and troubleshoot any issues that arise. This position is scheduled to work through the end of February 2025, with potential for extension. If you possess PLC and automation skills, there is an opportunity to transition into a level 2 role involving editing, modification, and schematic design.

ResponsibilitiesBuilding electrical panels and setting up panels for electrical testing.Testing 600-volt batteries for functionality and durability, and troubleshooting any issues.Reading and interpreting electrical schematics.Potential for PLC editing and modification for long-term opportunities.Working under the supervision of Senior Controls Technicians and Engineers.Documenting and reporting findings effectively.Essential SkillsExperience in building electrical panels and testing electrical equipment.Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Good communication skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with PLC programming is a plus.Any panel design experience is beneficial.Experience with mechanical and electrical schematic design.Work Environment

This role is based in a new facility with a great culture and clean environment. The facility includes a gym. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with opportunities for overtime.
