Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Controls Technician to support the scale-up operations of a new facility. This role is crucial for increasing production efficiency. The Controls Technician will monitor products, identify issues, and ensure seamless operation of all control systems.
ResponsibilitiesInstall, configure, program, test, and repair programmable logic equipment and associated peripherals.Make changes to existing control logic and operator interface programs.Assist in the implementation of new control systems.Install and configure programming terminals.Maintain the data structure of terminals used to monitor programs and operate machinery.Install, test, and repair electrical control components.Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and apply knowledge of machinery and electrical control units and systems.Assist maintenance in identifying defective components and wiring, and adjusting mechanical parts.Align, adjust, and calibrate control components.Maintain records of repairs, calibrations, and tests.Perform programming and troubleshooting of controllers.Read schematics and OEM specifications to program, configure, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment.Perform additional duties as assigned.Essential SkillsPLC programming experience.Experience with complex systems such as RS View and RS Logic 5000.Ability to design and program the function of automated equipment.Expertise with Allen-Bradley and Rockwell Automation components.Proficiency with MS Office.Strong oral and written communication skills.Ability to read and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $47.17
