Controls Technician
Job Title: Controls Engineer Job Description We have an exciting opportunity for a Controls Technician to join a manufacturing company. In this role, you will collaborate with Maintenance and Engineering teams to support engineering projects and automate equipment. You will also support repairs on all plant systems, machinery, and equipment to ensure maximum uptime and operational readiness. Additionally, you will participate in the execution of capital or improvement projects related to the installation of new equipment and lines and the redesign of existing equipment and lines. Responsibilities + Support repairs on all plant systems, machinery, and equipment to ensure maximum uptime and operational readiness. + Participate in the execution of capital or improvement projects for the installation of new equipment and lines, as well as the redesign of existing equipment and lines. + Collaborate with Engineers to install new equipment and production lines, and redesign and set up existing production lines. + Perform electrical and mechanical installation, preventive maintenance, and repairs on all plant electrical systems, machinery, and equipment. + Install PLCs, controls, and instrumentation. Essential Skills + 1 to 3 years of experience or relevant internship experience in a manufacturing environment working with electrical controls. + Strong understanding of PLCs. + Experience with Allen Bradley automation systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in a manufacturing environment. + Strong technical skills related to electrical controls and automation. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
