Job Title: Controls Technician

Job Description

The Controls Technician will support client service calls and go onsite to troubleshoot and fix issues with equipment. They will also support additional automation projects, including PLC programming, HMI programming, SCADA programming, DCS programming, network configuration, AC & DC drive setup and configuration, instrumentation, electrical design, and commissioning/startup support services. PLC programming will be performed but not from scratch. Travel to customer sites within a few hours commute is required. When not traveling, the technician will support time and material projects or assist other personnel in the division.

The candidate will receive a company vehicle and must have a clean driving record. While overnight stays are rare, they may occasionally be required. The technician will need to stay at the customer site until the job is completed. The average workweek is 40 hours, with the possibility of overtime if customer issues are not resolved quickly. There will be after-hours calls, and additional compensation is provided for overtime and after-hours work

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $60.10
