Controls Technician

Responsibilities Program, Troubleshoot/Repair, and MaintainFoundry equipment and automation cellsAlan Bradley Controls systems480V 3 phase power distributionInstall and repair industrial electronic equipmentProcess control systemsVFD's and soft startsPlant and local communication networksTroubleshoot various hardware versions of PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, network switches, process camera systemsProvide shift support and leadership as it relates to electrical safety, controls, and equipment operationPerform safety and continuous improvement projects, engage in and fully support all TCOS initiativesAssist/lead electrical/controls integration of capital projects throughout the plant Qualifications

Required

Minimum 2 years PLC / automation experienceSolid mechanical and electrical aptitude and problem solvingMust be able to read electrical schematics and PLC programmingAbility to make quick decisions in a fast-paced, team-orientated work environmentWillingness to work in cold/hot environment

Preferred

Robotic Experience: Motoman/Yaskawa and ABB3-5 years maintenance experienceAbility to read hydraulic and pneumatic schematicsAuto Cad experienceProject leadership experienceAssociates Degree in Industrial Maintenance or related fieldRobotic AutomationControl Safety Systems
