**Job Title: Controls Technician** **Job Description** We are hiring a high-level Controls Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for extensive PLC troubleshooting on control systems, improving control systems, utilizing a Computerized Maintenance Management System, and maintaining instrumentation calibration and maintenance schedules. Additionally, they will need to test electrical systems and the continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. The ideal candidate will also have thorough experience working with PLC programs. **Responsibilities** + Conduct extensive PLC troubleshooting on control systems. + Improve and optimize control systems. + Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System. + Maintain instrumentation calibration and maintenance schedules. + Test electrical systems and ensure continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. + Work with PLC programs. **Essential Skills** + Electrical troubleshooting and maintenance + Calibration + PLC programming + Electrical wiring + Control system management + Instrumentation + Preventive maintenance + PLC troubleshooting + Programming **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Prior experience as part of small capital project teams is a plus. + Experience with the installation of small control systems is desirable. + Comfortable training other technicians on various aspects of control systems. **Work Environment** This position is within an indoor manufacturing setting, specifically within the beer brewing industry, including refrigerated sections. The ideal candidate would work on the 3rd shift (Mon-Thurs 10p-7a) or could be considered for the 1st shift (Mon-Fri 7a-3:30p). **Location** This position is based out of Richmond, Virginia. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $50.00/hr.
