Job Description

With over five decades of expertise, this company excels in designing and manufacturing plastic functional systems through injection and blow molding processes. They mainly serve as a Tier 1 and 2 supplier to automotive industry manufacturers and suppliers, focusing on HVAC air management, oil lubrication, water tanks, acoustics, vibrations, and the visual harmony of vehicle components. The Controls Technician will report to the Quality and Engineering Department.

ResponsibilitiesUnderstand and perform processes on machines to ensure machine efficiency.Troubleshoot and correct robot issues.Troubleshoot camera and sensor issues on the fixtures.Understand, troubleshoot, and correct PLC ladder logic issues.Support maintenance with troubleshooting and repairs when possible.Promote quality manufacturing by ensuring all quality testing and inspections are completed.Perform problem solving using the understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics and blueprints.Essential Skills2 - 5 years of experience with industrial automation in a manufacturing environment.Strong aptitude in PLC troubleshooting (Unitronics, Allen-Bradley, and Omron).1+ years of experience with Fanuc (pick and place) and Keyence/Cognex vision systems.Experience with electro-mechanical, hydraulics maintenance.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.39 - $27.50/hr.
