Controls Technician (Non-Licensed)

Our client, a leading provider in HVAC/Building automation systems, is seeking a Controls Technician (Non-Licensed) to join their team. As a Controls Technician, you will be part of the commissioning team supporting the installation and startup of HVAC/Building automation systems. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, good communication and listening skills, and a demonstrated technical aptitude which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Controls Technician (Non-Licensed)
**Location:** Indianapolis, Indiana
**Pay Range:** $ 40-45/hr + Benefits
**What's the Job?**
+ Perform assigned system commissioning using client configuration and commissioning tools.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve basic HVAC mechanical, electrical, and controls problems.
+ Respond to basic warranty calls.
+ Load system-level controller software.
+ Complete administrative tasks including but not limited to time sheets, expense reports, and on-site documentation.
**What's Needed?**
+ Demonstrated technical aptitude with HVAC and building automation systems.
+ Proficiency in using hand and power tools (e.g., drills, saws).
+ Basic computer skills for system-level diagnostics and reporting.
+ Strong communication and listening skills.
+ Ability to follow safety standards and attend required safety training.
