Volt is immediately hiring for a Conventional Machinist in Irvine, California. $25.00-$35.00 per hour.
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
As a Conventional Machinist you will:
\r\n\r\n\r\n\tMachine complex production part features with very small margin for error.\r\n\tCreate simple and complex tooling as necessary.\r\n\tFully perform advanced setups on mills and or lathes.\r\n\tMachine all types of common aerospace materials without assistance.\r\n\tProvide training and assistance to lower level conventional machinists as necessary.\r\n\tSupport the site with the highest risk one off rework operations when necessary.\r\n\tAssist in developing new conventional machining processes for new product.\r\n\tOther duties as assigned\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
This is a Full-Time opportunity
\r\n\r\nShift: 2:00pm- 10:45pm
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
The ideal candidate will have:
\r\n\r\n\r\n\tGED or High School diploma preferred but not required.\r\n\tNIMS Certification desired but not required.\r\n\tAdvanced ability to read prints and perform mechanical inspections \r\n\tLeadership and mentoring abilities and willing to train other employees as needed\r\n\tAbility to lift up to 35lbs.\r\n\tStrong attention to detail and experience in advanced detailed machining\r\n\tThis position typically requires evidence of at least six years of experience machining in the aerospace industry in addition to the other machining competencies described above.\r\n\t7+ years of experience\r\n\r\n\r\nPay Rate: $25.00-$35.00 hour
