**Job Title: Conventional Machinist** **Job Description** If you have **Conventional Machining experience** and you're looking for a new position **ASAP** , then this is the position for you. A popular valve company in **Signal Hill** who manufactures **valves** is looking for a **Conventional Machinist** to join their team. Aerotek offers you a **rapid interview process** with the company so you can start ASAP. **Skills** + Operate manual lathes and conventional mills. + Set up and operate machines based on blueprints and specifications. + Perform machining tasks for approximately 3 hours daily. + Work on various manual machines for the remaining hours. + Calibrate machines and ensure they are functioning correctly. + Conduct machine repairs as needed. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Strong organizational skills. + Experience with machine calibration. **Why Work Here?** This role offers extensive training on all machines in the shop, providing you with the opportunity to expand your skill set.
