Detailed Job Description:
Client has embarked on a Redesign Project to implement PeopleSoft Program and requires a Conversion Specialist to work with Client’ implementation vendors and the Application Development team to manage and execute application development efforts.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Designing and documenting conversion strategiesDesigning, building and testing data conversion routines involving large volume of data.Designing, building and testing data conversion routines involving large volume of dataData mapping from legacy to new PeopleSoft applicationsDeveloping test strategies and data validation strategiesTesting conversion activities and overseeing conversion teams responsible for codingWorking with functional and technical leads to support implementation and validationtasksDesign data conversion scriptsUsing Oracle SQL Loader, SQL, SQR and PS QueryUsing PeopleTools - PeopleCode, Application Engine, Application Designer, Component InterfaceUsing PeopleSoft North American Payroll Module (Ver 9.0 and above)

Education Requirement: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or equivalent in a related field or a foreign equivalent or closely related field with relevant experience
