This position is responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing complex mechanical and electrical issues within conveyor systems and other warehouse machinery. \nYou'll be excited about this opportunity because You will provide daily maintenance of conveyor systems \nYou will also provide daily maintenance of MHE batteries and battery station- Including watering and upkeep \nProvide support for general housekeeping, facility maintenance, and preventive maintenance of fire extinguishers, dock door, dock levelers, and other miscellaneous general warehouse equipment \nWork with maintenance staff to maintain a safe and functional work environment \nCheck out some of the required qualifications we are looking for in amazing candidate\n\nPRIMARY FUNCTIONS: Maintain and repair material handling systems as needed (Includes gears, chains, pulleys, belts, electric gear motors, rollers, controls, etc.) Maintain and repair sorter systems as needed (includes laser scanners, computer and electronics) \nUnderstand system flow, start, stop and un-jam sequence\nMajor responsibilities of this position are: trouble shooting, preventative maintenance, dismantle, lubrication and overhaul of machinery and equipment\nCheck zones, belt tracking, photo eyes, etc\nThis position is also responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical equipment and parts\nObserve safety procedures and meet electrical codes\nMake decisions based on technical documents\nPerform quality testing and inspections\nReview these physical requirements, as they play a major part in this role…\nMay need to crawl, climb, and stand for extended periods of time

High School Diploma or equivalent \nAt least 2 years technical hands-on related experience\nMust have a working knowledge of conveyor systems, capable of troubleshooting and repairing all components\nMust be forklift certified, with a working knowledge of batter changing/watering requirements\nMust be mechanically inclined, with the ability to fix basic repairs throughout the facility\n\nphysical requirements, as they play a major part in this role\nJob requires continuous physical exertion - walking/bending/lifting/standing/climbing\nmust be able to lift a minimum of 65 lbs

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
