We are seeking a dedicated cook to join our team in a hospital setting. The role involves preparing food for patients, the cafeteria, and special functions. Both first and mid-shift opportunities are available.

ResponsibilitiesPrepare food for patients, cafeteria, and special functions.Clean work areas related to the preparation and serving of food.Perform janitorial duties, including mopping, sweeping, and sanitizing.Handle food safely and comply with food safety standards.Essential SkillsExperience as a cook.Knowledge of proper and safe use of applicable custodial equipment.Ability to perform janitorial duties such as cleaning, mopping, sweeping, and sanitizing.Food service and food preparation skills.Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and some holidays.Additional Skills & QualificationsWillingness to learn and grow.High standards for work areas and appearance.Punctuality and regular attendance.Compliance with dress code requirements.Why Work Here?

The position is based in a hospital with a climate-controlled environment. You will be working in a brand-new café as well as an older kitchen.

This is a Contract position based out of Lake Saint Louis, Missouri.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00
