**Cook - 2nd Shift** **Job Description** Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, grill, and present various hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods including Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Special/Catered Events. **Responsibilities** + Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards. + Grill, portion, and present hot and cold food items for different meal periods. + Ensure all food is prepared and served promptly. + Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines. + Assist with the preparation of special/catered events. + Maintain a clean and organized work area. + Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations. **Essential Skills** + Experience in food service, cooking, and food preparation. + Proficiency in cooking on a grill. + Ability to follow directions and recipes accurately. + Experience in cooking from scratch. + Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience as a line cook or in a similar role. + Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. + Strong attention to detail. + Good communication skills. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy great benefits and a fantastic work environment. The role is based on a 2nd shift schedule. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Worth, Texas. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.10 - $17.10/hr.
