Cook in Providence Hood River Hospital (Full-time, Day shift)

Starting hourly rate is $17.02/hr and increases based on your years of experience

$2,000 hiring/sign-on bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment

The cook position provides for and oversees the delivery of meal services to patients and hospital visitors. The cook is responsible for following all safe food handling regulations, practices and procedures. In the absence of the department manager, the cook may serve as a lead for the unit. The cook may help with on-line ordering of food inventory.

Required Qualifications:

Upon hire: National Food Handler Card - State County City Authority 

Preferred Qualifications:

Hospital or other professional culinary experience.
