Ensures meals are ready at the specified times and tests foods being cooked to ensure proper seasoning etc Consults with the Registered Dietitian on modified diets, as necessarySupervises Nutritional Services workers when washing, trimming or preparing food Maintains kitchen in a clean, neat and organized manner and adheres to all infection control policies and proceduresOther duties as assignedQualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED preferredPrior food service or customer service experience with cooking experience preferredExperience with patient dietary restrictionsPrior healthcare experience preferred but not requiredAbility to communicate verbally and in writing

We offer customized, intense rehabilitation tailored to the individual needs of those recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury. We are accredited by both The Joint Commission and CARF for our Stroke and Amputation Specialty Programs as well as CARF-accredited for our Comprehensive Integrated Inpatient Rehabilitation and Brain Injury Specialty Programs.
