As a cook the focus is producing high quality menu items in a detail-focused work environment based on established standards, guidelines and procedures. Come work and play at Seattleā€™s home mountain, The Summit at Snoqualmie. Located an hour from Seattle, at the junction where the Pacific Crest Trail crosses Interstate 90. With summer activities ramping up with spectacular Mountain Biking trails and Scenic Lift Rides, there is lots to do all year long. Responsibilities Job duties may include, but are not limited to: Performing opening procedures including equipment turn on, cleaning, sanitation, and organization of all kitchen space. Check temperatures of freezers, refrigerators, or heating equipment to ensure proper functioning. Prepare food and set up allocated stations for service to food safety and Boyne standards. Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food products at line stations. Maintain a clean and sanitized work area/kitchen at all times. Qualifications What we are looking for: Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by team and guests. Must be able to perform basic culinary skills satisfactorily. Maintain professionalism and a team player mindset. Able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines. Wage and Benefit Info: The wage range for this positions is: from $18.03- $21.37/hr This is a non-benefited role. All individuals may contribute to the 401(k). An employee must work 1,000 hours in a calendar year to qualify for the discretionary match (there is a 2 year vesting cliff). All individuals accrue sick time at 1 hour per 40 hours worked to a maximum of 64 hours per year. All Full Time individuals may participate in our Ally Heath benefit. It gives fast and easy access to Telemedicine and Mental Health appointments. It covers all family members and there are no copays or deductibles. It is a $4 deduction each week.
