The Cook position with this Healthcare provider will prepare and serve a culinary experience to patients, residents and visitors. This position is responsible for preparing high-quality meals and providing support for the smooth operations of the kitchen. Specific tasks and prep lists will be assigned each shift. This role requires precision, efficiency and the ability to work in a high volume, fast-paced environment.

Essential Functions & Duties: Prepare food according to established recipes, ensuring consistency in flavor, quality and presentation standards Assemble meal items for service in accordance with established plan and portion size Complete food production records and record department statistics Monitor, manage and organize ingredient inventory levels to ensure freshness and minimize waste Adheres to food safety and sanitation guidelines and regulations to ensure quality food service Maintains and cleans all kitchen equipment to required standards Actively participates in training programs to enhance skills including cooking procedures, presentation, therapeutic diets, ServSafe Certification, fire safety, etc.
Qualifications: High school diploma or Equivalent ServSafe Certification within four (4) months of start date Six months of work in food preparation or formal culinary training preferred One year of experience working in a high-volume commercial kitchen preferred Call or text Melanie in our LC Staffing Kalispell Office at 406-542-3377
