Crouse’s Nutritional Services Department oversees all hospital cafeteria services as well as preparation and serving of patient meals that are nutritionally adequate, following appropriate diet modifications as prescribed by their medical provider.
Pay Range: $16.80 - $28.82 /hour Based on verified education and experience
Schedule: 11:00am to 7:30pm with rotating weekends, holidays and other shifts assigned
Responsibilities:
Properly prepares food in accordance with departmental prep sheets and as directed by department leadership. Accurately prepares food orders as requested by patients on the At Your Request Meal Ticket. Proactively assists the department leadership in meal planning and preparation. This includes researching costs of food items and assigning charges to catering menus. Consistently follows recipes correctly and complies to departmental standards. Ensures all foods are cooked, prepared and held at proper temperatures.Education and Certification Requirements
Associates Degree in Culinary Arts or a related field or High School diploma with 2 years experience in short order or restaurant cooking Each year of culinary school will be equivalent to 2 years of work experience.Benefits Overview:
