The cook prepares food for hospital patients, guests, employees, and catered functions according to standardized recipes and established policies and procedures. Implements and abides by Customer Service Standards. Supports and implements patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate. Supports and demonstrates Family Centered Care principles when interacting with patients and their families, guests and with co-workers.
Schedule:
Full Time | 80 hours every two weeks Six morning shifts (6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.) & Four afternoon shifts (10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.) per two week pay period Every other Weekend & Holiday rotationPay & Benefits:
$16.82 or more per hour, pay determined by experience. Full time benefits: medical, dental, PTO, retirement, employee discounts and more! This is a Union position, and you will be required to join the AFSCME 3296 Union within 30 days from start.Qualifications:
Prior quantity cooking and baking experience preferred, but not required. On-the-job training provided! Must be able to read, speak and write English and follow oral and written directions. Mathematical skills required to complete production tasks.
