St Clair Youth Treatment Center, located in Mt. Clemens, is a secure, residential treatment program that serves male high school youth (ages 12-18) who have mental health, substance abuse and/or behavioral needs. As an Evidence-Based Mental Health Program (EBMH), St. Clair prescribes evidence-based, trauma-informed therapeutic services, involves the family and community, and offers diverse social and educational opportunities that fosters a culture of learning, growth, and achievement. The St. Clair campus features single rooms, an indoor gym, library classroom space, kitchen and dining hall, and outdoor basketball courts and green space.
Pay: Starting at $41,600/year

What you will do: The Cook position works as a staff member of the Ancillary team. Primarily responsible for providing quality customer and employee services regarding food service and kitchen management. Duties include:
Ensures that healthy and tasty food is prepared in accordance with all Federal, State, Local, and National School Lunch and Breakfast Program requirements. Performs duties in the prepping and cooking of food. Ensures customer service is maintained at a level that meets or exceeds each customer's expectations. Maintains the entire dining and preparation facility in a constant state of sanitary acceptance. Maintains a daily and monthly inventory log of all supplies, materials and equipment to ensure all items are accounted for. Maintains a materials safety data sheet, if applicable.To be considered you should: Possess a high school diploma or equivalent-Be at least 21 years of age-Ability to effectively communicate-Have a desire to work with at risk youth-Be able to pass a search of the child abuse central registry-Ability to provide exemplary customer service to all student athletes and employees-Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen (No THC for pre-employment testing) physical and TB test
