Overview M Health Fairview is seeking a Cook for St. John's Hospital! This is a part time position that offers 16 hours per a 2-week pay period! This position is not benefit eligible. This is a great position if you are seeking a 2nd job or want to gain new experience. Friendly staff to train, work, and grow with. Summary: Prepares and serves hot and cold foods for all customers using standardized recipes and accurate food handling techniques! Week 1: OFF Week 2: Saturday 6:00am-2:30pm Sunday 6:00am-2:30pm Responsibilities Job Description Maintains knowledge of, and follows, all relevant laws, regulations and policies, procedures and standards Actively participates in crafting and implementing improvements to achieve clinical happiness and efficient outcomes Prepares food per standardized recipes, production sheets and department service times Ensures food is prepared per standardized recipes and production sheets to maintain quality standards Practices accurate infection control methods, including proper hand washing, and personal hygiene Checks food for accurate temperature, flavor and appearance to ensure customer happiness May assist with ordering, receiving and storage of food and supplies Qualifications Required Qualifications: No experience needed Willingness to learn and develop Preferred Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent preferred Other Required Skills: Ability to read, write and speak English. Demonstrates ability to follow written and oral directions, including recipes, production sheets, etc. Knowledge of large kitchen equipment and how to use equipment accurately.
