As one of our Line Cooks, you will be preparing food primarily for the Aria Lounge and Block 23, our beautiful restaurant outlets on property. You will be preparing the menu items in accordance with our high standards of quality while maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment at all times.

You understand the value of consistency in food production but love an opportunity to show your creativity when the opportunity arises. You have an eye for detail and are able to adapt quickly to changes in pace. You are able to lift items up to 100lbs and a full-time position with shifts that may flex between AM and PM works best for your lifestyle.

Some tasks in the regular day to day in this position include, but are not limited to:
Preparing food of consistent quality following recipe cards and production and portion standards, per check from servers. Starting food items that are prepared ahead of time, making sure not to over prepare estimated needs. Dating all food containers and rotate as per Crescent standards, making sure that all perishables are kept at proper temperatures. Checking pars for shift use, determine necessary preparation, freezer pull and line set up. Note any out-of stock items or possible shortages. Assisting in keeping buffet stocked. Returning all food items not used on next shift to designated storage areas, being sure to cover/date all perishables. Assisting in setting up plans and actions to correct any food cost problems, control food waste, loss and usage per Crescent standards. Operating, maintaining and properly cleaning deep fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, food processor, mixer, slicer, oven steam table, tilt kettle, waffle iron and flat top grill.
