CentraCare Monticello Hospital is seeking a skilled and dedicated Cook to join our culinary team. The Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals for patients, staff, and visitors in accordance with dietary guidelines and food safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Main Responsibilities:
Ensure quality food service is provided at all times. Adhere to dietary restrictions and special dietary needs of patients, as directed by healthcare providers and dietitians. Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, including proper food storage, handling, and disposal procedures to prevent contamination and ensure food safety Wash dishes, clean pots, pans, and utensils in work area.Schedule:
Part-time 48 hours every two weeks Variable days Shifts include 10:30am-7pm & 11am-7:30pm Every other weekend and rotating holidaysPay and Benefits:
Starting at $19.10 per hour; exact wage determined by experience. Pay range: $19.10 - $28.87 per hour Benefits eligible: Medical, dental, vacation, retirement, employee discounts and more!Qualifications:
Basic computer knowledge Ability to work in a team environment and/or work independently as needed. Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. Strong written and verbal skills. Strong interpersonal human relations skills.
