Job Overview:

Under the supervision of a Department of Food and Nutrition Services Supervisor or Manager, the Cook Helper complete tasks as outlined in the job flow for daily position assigned.

Qualifications:

Required:

Knowledge of food production, service and sanitation Prior cooking experience in a healthcare facility Position may require to work every other weekend depending on department s needs

Preferred:

High school diploma or equivalentCulinary Degree or Certification. Serv Safe Certified Prior experience in food service Knowledge of food production, service and sanitation

Scheduling Requirements

Shift: DayTime: 7:00am 3:00pm Status: Full Time Hours: 40.00 hrs.

Essential Functions:

Complete tasks as outlined in the job flow for daily position assignedRetrieve, prep and prepare items according to the daily production sheets and recipesFollow all HACCP guidelines for food and physical safety.
