Key Job Functions

Follow all restaurant recipesUse product according to guidelinesProperly store and zone all food itemsAssist in preparing for inventory with daily walkthrough and maintaining walk-in & dry storage so that everything is “sheet to shelf”Maintaining system clipboards throughout the shiftMaintain all quality standards at all times per checklist “clipboards”Be in proper uniform and properly groomed at all timesProperly set up prep area according to guidelinesComplete and properly store all daily prep according to zoning and rotation guidelinesMaintain all cooking technique standardsCommunicate repair and maintenance needs to managementAssist in menu development - New menu items will adhere to the procedures outlined in the menu change checklistKeep prep station clean, organized and zoned properly according to specificationsComprehend and adhere to cleanliness and sanitation guidelines as prescribed by R’evolution standards as well as state and city codesBuild solid relationship with your Colleagues Treat colleagues with respect and dignityOther duties and responsibilities may be assigned. Qualifications and Skills

A candidate for this position must possess the following applicable knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to demonstrate and provide applicable examples to support his/her competency.

At least two years of previous cook experience preferable in fine diningA Culinary degree or related hotel experience preferred.Candidates should be able to perform all basic and intermediate cooking skillsTrack record of delivering exceptional guest or client experienceCommunication skills are utilized a significant amount of time for training and safety purposes, and when interacting with guests and associatesStrong communication skillsAppropriate professional appearance and demeanorValid ServSafe Food Handler Certificate required
