The lively Signia by Hilton Bonnet Creek is searching for their next Full-Time Cook ll to join the La Luce team!

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 or 2 years of professional culinary experience, including at least 1 year specializing in Italian cuisine. Full availability with no scheduling restrictions is required. Hotel experience is preferred but not mandatory.

La Luce, Signia by Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek’s signature restaurant created by famed Napa Valley chef and restaurateur Donna Scala. This modern Italian country kitchen serves dinner nightly and features thin crust pizzas, homemade pasta, Mediterranean-inspired drinks and a Trattoria-style wine program.

Shift Pattern: Evening Shift/ Open availability is required including weekdays, weekends, and holidays/ Typical shift pattern is 2:30pm-11:00pm

Pay Range: $20.80 per hour

What will I be doing?

\n

As a Cook ll, you would be responsible for preparing cold food items in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

\n\nPrepare cold food items including, but not limited to, salads, fruits, dressings, fish items and appetizers, according to designated recipes and quality standards\nMaintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards at all times\nManage guest orders in a friendly, timely and efficient manner\nEnsure knowledge of menu and food products\nStock and maintain designated food stations(s)\nVisually inspect all food sent from the kitchen\nPractice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local and company regulations\n
