ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Position Summary:
As a Cook II at DEN, you are essential in delivering the exceptional OTG guest experience. Your responsibilities include preparing food to precise temperature, portion , and plating specifications while maintaining a clean and sanitized work area. A successful Cook II enjoys working with others and is motivated to deliver high-quality food experiences for guests.
Responsibilities:
+ An OTG Cook II will work on the line in one of OTG’s full-service concepts
+ Prepare food to the correct temperature, portion size, and plating specifications for consistent presentation according to OTG standards.
+ Ensure all food items are ready at the same time as others on the same order
+ Maintain organization, cleanliness, and sanitation of work areas and equipment
+ Knowledge of operating all kitchen equipment (i.e., stoves, ovens, broilers, slicers, steamers, kettles, etc.)
+ Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
+ Develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members to achieve guest satisfaction.
+ Perform o ther duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements:
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
+ Must be fully conversational in English
+ 2 + years of culinary experience in a fast-paced dining restaurant ( demonstrating moderate-level cooking skills: Quick serve , grilling, frying, etc.)
+ Knowledge of cooking procedures, safety, and sanitation
+ Able to lift 35 lbs. or more
+ Must be mobile and able to stand for extended periods, stoop, kneel, and crouch
+ Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, holidays, and inclement weather.
